Look up a public Bluesky profile by full handle, did:plc or hostname-only did:web identifier, or bsky.app profile URL. A bare name checks only name.bsky.social and is labeled as an inferred candidate. Profiles retain their DID so handle changes do not create a new account. The AppView reports the handle-to-DID association; this tool does not independently verify it or identify the account holder.
Coverage and interpretation
One unauthenticated request to the public Bluesky AppView. No posts, followers lists, private contacts or cross-platform identity matching are requested. Missing or restricted profiles do not establish absence or username availability. Product limits: 30 requests per minute shared across users and 100000 calls per month, with hard stop. Provider limits may also apply.
Public observations are not proof of real-world identity. Review candidate records against their cited sources. Saved investigations preserve evidence acquisition times and provider provenance; these timestamps do not establish when a profile or fact first existed.
