This page describes data handled by the current OSINT.dev product, including accounts, searches and private investigations.

Accounts and saved activity

Account authentication is provided through Supabase. Account and profile data, saved search history, tool runs and investigation records support the features you use. An investigation can contain its target, related entities, source observations and collection times. Private investigations require an authenticated account and are scoped to their owner.

Queries and external services

Depending on the selected check, the target or part of it may be sent to an external data provider, or a request may be made to a public endpoint on the target. For example, email context checks can query the address's domain, while phone numbering analysis uses numbering-plan data. Read the relevant tool description before submitting data.

Public sources can still contain personal information. Do not submit passwords, private tokens or confidential material as search targets. Consider whether you are entitled to process or retain the information involved.

Cookies and operational data

Authentication uses cookies to maintain sessions. The production site includes Vercel Analytics and a consent-management component. Hosting, authentication and data providers may process request information when delivering their services.
