What this tool does.
OSINT.dev queries the Internet Archive's Wayback CDX index for a bounded list of archived captures. The standalone tool accepts a public page URL. Domain and hostname investigations query the target's homepage and add capture history to the evidence workspace.
The default is 10 captures, with a maximum of 25 per check. Capture timestamps describe when the archive recorded the page; retrieval time describes when OSINT.dev queried the index. Results include links to the archived pages.
This integration does not archive new pages or crawl an entire website. Missing or limited results do not establish that a page never existed. Archive availability and completeness depend on the Internet Archive.
